_ICMP_FILTER

The _ICMP_FILTER structure specifies Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) filtering parameters within a _TRANSPORT_LAYER_FILTER.

Members

m_ValidFields
Bitmask specifying which fields of the structure are active for filtering. Supported flags:

  • ICMP_TYPE (0x00000001): Filter matches against the ICMP message type range defined by m_TypeRange.
  • ICMP_CODE (0x00000002): Filter matches against the ICMP code range defined by m_CodeRange.

m_TypeRange
A _BYTE_RANGE structure defining the inclusive minimum and maximum ICMP message types (e.g. Type 8 for ICMP Echo Request, Type 0 for ICMP Echo Reply).

m_CodeRange
A _BYTE_RANGE structure defining the inclusive minimum and maximum ICMP message codes.
