When connecting to a dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 WireGuard server in Virtual Network Adapter mode, I lose my IPv6 connection on the network outside of the tunnel, so any programs that aren’t in the allowlist for the VPN lose IPv6 connections entirely. I was able to work around this by configuring the routing table of my computer with a persistent route with the Destination ::/0 and the gateway IP of my router (allowed apps still use the VPN connection even with this tweak), but I feel like this probably shouldn’t be necessary.

Could you clarify if this behavior is unique to Virtual Adapter mode, or does it impact Transparent mode as well? Since these modes are implemented in distinct manners, their behaviors might vary.

This behaviour doesn’t happen in Transparent mode, IPv6 works fine outside of the tunnel in this case; my use case (which requires binding to interfaces) demands Virtual Adapter mode though.
