Hello!
The TCP statfull inspection is off by default in NeT Firewall 3.0. Do I need to turn this on when browsing the Internet? I get lots of DCOM exploit attack warnings from my anti virus application when using NeT but not when using the built-in firewall in WinXp.For the majority of Internet users it is enough to use one the Stealth modes to be fully protected from external attacks. TCP stateful inspection is mostly important for server systems.

Thank you, I didn’t realise that there was two stelth modes. But I am a little concerned over those reappering DCOM attacks. (Blaster?) I havn’t seen those prior to using NeT but of couse I can not be sure that they have been there before switching to NeT. All the same, they are stopped by Avast. I will revert back to using only DNS protection for a while. If you get an internet worm from my computer you will know why 🙂
