Connected to tunnel, but no traffic works

    The tunnel connects, the handshake is working, but no connection is working OR it is EXTREMELY slow, like 10 minutes to load google. On normal wireguard client, it works with the exact same config. Windows 10 x64. Log below.

    Typically, these errors occur in the case of packet fragmentation. Could you please try reducing the MTU and also check if using virtual adapter mode (-lac) makes a difference?

    lowering the mtu seems to fix it, though the normal client uses a mtu of 1420

    The official Wireguard client employs a UDP socket and relies on the TCP/IP stack for packet reassembly. In contrast, WireSock, prioritizing performance, directly retrieves packets from the NDIS layer, bypassing the TCP/IP stack. The current version of WireSock does not reassemble fragmented Wireguard packets, operating under the assumption that the MTU is appropriately chosen to prevent fragmentation. While this approach is optimal for performance, it can be confusing for users. Recognizing this, I plan to address and rectify this issue in WireSock when time allows.

    Hi Vadim!
    I have the issue with WireSock, in my case WG Adapter on the client side has mtu 1420, (Ethernet adapter mtu == 1500), on the server side WG Interface (wg0) has also mtu 1420, and eth0 has 1500, but when I try open sites in Chrome I get – very slow loading of the sites or ERR_TIMEOUT. I tried mtu 1380 and 1360 as well, but it doesn’t help. When I use the same setup with official WG Client for Windows I don’t see any problems… Could you help with ideas how to get WireSock working?

    Logs and PCAP files would be helpful for investigating your issue.
